Flight Training

Frontline Aviation

offers personalized flight training at Waycross-Ware County Airport, catering to all skill levels—from first-timers to aspiring professionals.

Discovery Flights

30-minute or 60-minute introductory flights give you hands-on control while flying over local highlights like the Okefenokee Swamp and Satilla River .

Priced from $99, these flights include pre-flight briefings and dual instruction 

Aircraft & Fleet

Training is conducted on their reliable Cessna 172E Skyhawk (N3933S)—a four-seat, single-engine aircraft equipped for IFR flight with a Garmin 430.

Comprehensive Flight Training

Structured programs guide you from Private Pilot through Instrument and Commercial certifications, blending in-flight instruction with ground school.

Ground training is delivered online via Gold Seal Ground School, a well-regarded FAA-approved platform.

Discovery Flights

Experience flight firsthand with introductory lessons designed to give you hands-on control. These discovery flights are perfect for anyone curious about aviation or considering formal training.

Flights include pre-flight briefings and dual instruction with a Certified Flight Instructor.

Aircraft & Fleet

Training is conducted in their dependable Cessna 172 Skyhawk, a four-seat, single-engine aircraft well-suited for both VFR and IFR training. Students may also train in their own aircraft if preferred.

Comprehensive Flight Training

As the joint economic development agency for the City of Waycross and Ware County, the Waycross‑Ware County Development Authority (WWDA) drives community growth and prosperity.
